Everyone suggested I should publish my work, so here I am trying to defy my utter lack of internet skills. I hope that my information on the dome is entertaining, while I must warn you:

Children, don’t try this at home!

It cost me a fair amount of money to build this whole thing, I just won’t tell you how much it was. In the end, I practically built two domes judging from all the failed attempts that lie around in my parents’ garage and in my bosse’s laboratories. Maybe I will add a page on “how not to build a dome”.

In the future, there will also be pages on the fulldome video live capture projects that we are currently doing at allsky.de. Live capture is extremely fun, although it keeps me from studying geology…
