Today I received my invoice for the fabulous RED camera that I ordered 1.5 years ago. Tomorrow I will have to pay a nice chunk of money to the manufacturer, but I knew that day was going to come.

Luckily I already know what can be done with it. We tried it on various occasions with the optics we developed at allsky.de for fulldome capture, and so I am eager to see just how fast one can make a fulldome movie. Theoretically all I still need is a plane ticket, a tent and a rental car to start with my first production.
